Master of EKSU Daniel Ballast 20 years later visited the university

He received a master's degree in Kazakh philology at S. Amanzholov EKSU and a diploma personally presented by the First President of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev exactly 20 years ago, Daniel Ballast visited the EKSU.

A graduate of Purdue University (USA) and a graduate of a magistracy S. Amanzholov EKSU, vice president of international programs and cooperation at KASU, US citizen Daniel Ballast in 1999 received a master's degree in Kazakh philology from the S. Amanzholov EKSU. Today D. Ballast is the vice-president of KASU, coordinating international educational programs, awarded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan the sign "Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

 

During the celebration of the 25th anniversary of KASU, he visited the EKSU, taking part in the opening of the educational audience of general chemistry named after E.A. Mambetkaziev and scientific-practical conference "Fundamental research: innovations in chemical science and education." Daniel Ballast, meeting with colleagues from EKSU, warmly talked to them, recalling the events of 20 years ago.

 

Once the American Daniel Bellast not only expressed a desire to learn the state language of the Republic of Kazakhstan, but also received a master's degree in Kazakh philology.

 

In 1993, having arrived in Ust-Kamenogorsk, he began to teach at EKSU. Having entered the magistracy, Dan Bellast, under the guidance of Farzana Rafikovna Akhmetzhanova, professor of the EKSU, took up research work on the topic “Kazakh-English language interconnections”. The work was rated excellent.
