Professor from Turkey: EKSU is developing very dynamically

Doctor of Sociology, Professor, Head of the Department of Sociology, Uskudar University (Istanbul, Turkey) Abulfaz Davud oglu Suleymanov completed a monthly cycle of lectures on psychology at S. Amanzholov EKSU.

The professor was in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk for exactly a month at the invitation of the S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University, faculty of psychology, pedagogy and culture.

-I gave lectures to masters, bachelors in social psychology, methods of scientific research, there were special topics, for example, socio-psychological problems of modern society. In addition, much attention was paid to topical issues around the world of such a nature as loneliness, violence, as well as the issue of artificial intelligence, which is being actively studied in the scientific community. Along with this, we had topics related to the changes that await us in education, I also conducted online broadcasts from Turkey to give lectures by famous Turkish scientists in defectology, in the field of brain activity, about new changes in the study of the human brain, according to psychiatry, ethnic psychology. In addition, we examined issues of social and guardian work, in general, a very large variety of topics was covered. In our lectures, we started from an interdisciplinary approach in science, which prevailed in our lectures.

An interdisciplinary approach is a way to expand the scientific worldview in the direction of enriching the knowledge, methodology and language of one scientific discipline due to the knowledge, methodology and language of another scientific discipline.

To a question about his impressions of S. Amanzholov EKSU and the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, Professor Abulfaz Davud oglu Suleymanov replied that he was visiting the EKSU and Ust-Kamenogorsk for the second time.

“I have a lot of friends here,” he said. “I am very pleased to be here.” I can say about the university that there are a lot of innovations that I notice all the time when I arrive, the university is developing very dynamically. You have a lot of international relations, it is very important for today, because we live in a global world, and international cooperation contributes to a certain dynamics in the development of the field of science and research.

As for the impressions of the city, the Turkish scientist also noted its dynamism.

- The city is small, but very dynamic, very friendly people, they always smile, in my eyes - joy, everyone helped me in everything, - he noted. - I really liked the ethnopark. The original project, as my friends told me, was Nikolai Zaitsev. It was interesting for me to walk around the ethno-village, I met such a thing in a museum in London. In your ethnic village you can see the entire polarity of Ust-Kamenogorsk, the history and life of people of different nationalities living in Ust-Kamenogorsk. I spent about 3-4 hours in this museum-reserve and even broadcast live from there for my friends from Turkey.

Speaking about future prospects, Abulfaz Davud oglu Suleimanov noted that the plans include continued cooperation with the S. Amanzholov EKSU.

“I think that relations with teachers, the scientific field of EKSU will continue to be maintained, and we will not only give lectures, we will also have joint general research,” he said. - We already have certain achievements, areas of work in which we have already agreed to develop further cooperation.
