Aims and objectives of the specialty

The purpose of the educational program - provide training for masters in state and local government in accordance with the highest academic standards in a competitive educational environment, attractive to the best graduates of schools and colleges.

The objectives of the educational program:

  • Provide students systematic knowledge of the basic and main subjects specialty, based on solid experimental and theoretical basis, along with knowledge of elective courses based on the latest achievements of science;
  • To form a system skills related to solving problems of the economy, a critical assessment of the statistical data and make effective management decisions.
Qualification characteristics

Areas of professional activity of specialty: management of public institutions; local government; management in the social sphere; management of non-profit organizations; management in other organizations, in positions on relations with state bodies and citizens.

Objects of professional activity:
Objects of professional work of graduates of magistracy are: the unit and the administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan; the apparatus of the Kazakh Parliament; various structural divisions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan; higher education institutions; research centers, research and expert consulting organizations; economic and financial management bodies (ministries, departments and agencies); local authorities (akimats regions, cities, regions) and executive bodies of the units; national public and private companies, concerns, corporations and others.

Objects seasoned professional activity:
management, economics, management, analysis, indicative and strategic planning, forecasting, financial and economic decision-making at the national level, the regional economy and businesses, and others.
