MESSAGE

of  S. Amanzholov East-Kazakhstan State University students

to the students of OSCE countries
Ust-Kamenogorsk, December 1, 2010

This document was adopted by the students at the event devoted to OSCE Summit in Astana.

We are addressing to students of Kazakhstan and foreign universities, to all young people with an active stand in life.
Youth is a driving force of any country that innovates, generates new ideas, new perspectives, and develops new technologies. It is youth that can  find the most effective ways to solve various problems.
The unanimous decision of 56 OSCE member countries about the chairmanship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in this organization is an objective recognition and a high evaluation of our country’s success in socio-economic and socio-political development with the leadership of its first President N.A. Nazarbayev.
For the first time in the history of OSCE Central Asia became an OSCE chairman. This proves the increased authority of Kazakhstan in the world and a high authority of the Head of our State. Our country makes a significant contribution to the "protracted conflicts’" resolution. Problems in Afghanistan became an important issue. Great attention is devoted to the Eurasian transit-transport potential and to the establishment of continental transport corridors.
Having a positive experience in ensuring peace and harmony, Kazakhstan shows an example of tolerance and intercultural dialogue among peoples.
We, S. Amanzholov EKSU students, are proud of our country’s progress and achievements and appeal young people of OSCE states to:
- support  international initiatives of Kazakhstan and of our President;
- provide worldwide support in peace and harmony maintenance on the planet;
- present the achievements of our countries’ youth by participating in international intellectual and sports competitions;
- get good education, be active citizens and strive to realize their scientific and creative potential for the prosperity of our countries;
- respect human rights and avoid any form of discrimination.
We, S. Amanzholov EKSU students, are well aware of our enormous responsibility for the future of our planet and urge young people to respond to our call
