New Year Greetings from the University of Porto

Saule Nurkenova, «ERASMUS MUNDUS» international program scholarship holder, who is currently undergoing training at the University of Porto, congratulates the university staff on New Year. We would remind you that in September, associate professor of the English language department and fourteen students, undergraduates and teachers, holders of the said grant program, that provides academic mobility, went abroad.

According to Saule Slyambekovna, being in a foreign land, she celebrated New Year the way it is done in Portugal. In sunny Portugal Christmas and New Year holidays last for almost a month. In her words, crisis there is not felt: there are widespread discounts in stores, being notable for a large variety of goods. The city sparkles with rich Christmas decorations.
